The Life of Ellenor Springer
Ellenor M. (Jonath) Springer (1923-2012) Ellenor M. (Jonath) Springer, 89, of Chardon, passed away Nov. 27, 2012, in Huntsburg. Born Jan. 12, 1923, in Cleveland, she had lived in Richmond Heights before moving to Chardon eight years ago. She enjoyed crafts and sewing. Ellenor was a lifelong homemaker dedicated to her family. She was the matriarch and the last of her generation in the Springer and Jonath families. Survivors are her sons, Marvin (Joan) Springer, James (Selan) Springer and Donald (Marilyn) Springer; daughters, Patricia (Curtis) Ross, Karen (Stan) Marenberg Susan (Mike) Brown; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was also the loving aunt and great-aunt of many. She was preceded in death by her husband, William T.; parents, John and Molly (nee Lukat) Jonath; and brothers, Harry (Gladys) and Ernst (Lela) Jonath. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
