The Life of BETTY V BARR GOODER
Betty V. Gooder, 94, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri.
Betty was born April 19, 1918, in Perry, Iowa, to Webster and Cora Barr. She graduated from East High School in Des Moines, Iowa. Betty retired from Armstrong Tire & Rubber Co. after 40 years of service as an accounting supervisor. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Wilbur “Bill” Gooder.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, Iowa, followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
