The Life of Raymond F. Kirchner

Ray Kirchner (1921-2012) Funeral Mass for Ray Kirchner, 90, of Mentor, will be held noon Wednesday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. (Please meet at the church.) Mr. Kirchner passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby. Born Nov. 19, 1921, in Cleveland, Mr. Kirchner worked as a maintenance director for the city of Cleveland before his retirement. He graduated from Cathedral Latin High School where he was inducted as a member of Cathedral Latin Sports Hall of Fame. Ray was a World War II Navy veteran who proudly served his country. Survivors are his children, Lynne (Lloyd) Baeslach, Katie (Joe) Sternad, Ray (Nancy) Kirchner and Dan Kirchner; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Kirchner; daughter, Diane Lillash; and parents, Frank and Emma Kirchner.
