The Life of Valerie Dulla Krajcovic

Valeria Krajcovic 82, of 90 High St. died Wednesday Oct. 31, at the Griffin Hospital. She is the wife of the late Joseph Krajcovic. Born in Hrabusice, Czechoslovakia on Aug. 16, 1930 daughter of the late Joseph and Matilda (Hodak) Dulla. Valerie came to the United States in 1950 and was employed by the 3M Co. and Teledyne Co for many years. A faithful communicant of the Church of the Assumption, she enjoyed a love of baking everything from scratch, crocheting, and gardening. Val was a caring and compassionate Sister and Aunt (Teta) who devoted her life to her family, especially her beloved neices and nephews. She also treasured her friendship with her best friend Rita Bujnovski. Survivors are Brother Joseph M. Dulla and his loving wife Cecilia of Ansonia, Who were also her caregivers for the past two years, Sister Irma Lapsanska of Slovakia. Nieces Martha Dulla of Derby, Nephews Maryann Dulla, Nephews Anthony Dulla, Joseph Dulla and his wife Robyn of Ansonia and Grandniece Tabitha Dulla of Ansonia as well as 5 nieces and 2 nephews in Slovakia. She was predeceased by Brother Anthony Dulla of Slovakia. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 9:00am from the Bennett Funeral Home 91 N. Cliff St. Ansonia to the Church of the Assumption for a mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling Hours will be on Monday from 3:30 till 7pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Assumption Church or Assumption School in care of the Funeral Home.
