The Life of JOANN EVELYN GRACEY
Joann E. Gracey, 82, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012. She was born July 15, 1930, in Des Moines, to Harold and Dorothy Cruikshank.
Joann is survived by her loving husband, Carl; children, Rebecca Denning, Patty Mills, Billy (Anne) Beals, and Dan Gracey; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Joyce Cox, her nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Barney.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 29, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines, with burial following at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, in loving memory of Joann.
