Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis, step daughter Janice Monk, brothers, Meloin and Charles, his mother, Mildred, and father, LeRoy. Dick is survived by three children, Linda, Karen and Craig, 2 step children, Gary and Jim. Also surviving are his sisters Delores Hinzell, and Helen Evans. There are 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren surviving. The family would like to give special THANKS to the Iowa Hospice caregivers for all they did for Dick, and to all the other special people who helped with his care and comfort. You are so very much appreciated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, at Brooks Funeral Care, located at 7975 University Blvd. at 10 a.m.
