The Life of MARJORIE MAXINE ROBINSON
Marjorie "Marge" Robinson, 89, of Des Moines, went home to be with Jesus, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, October 21, 2012.
Marge was born in Centerville, Iowa to Alfred and Georgina Weaver. She lived most of her life in Des Moines.
Marge is survived by her daughter, Robin K. Robinson; eight grandchildren, Debbie Whitehead (Todd), Robert Robinson, Diana Snow (Rich), Laura Williams (Rob), Eric Robinson, Christina Hickey (Michael), Rick Robinson, and Tiara Robinson; 13 great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Marge was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Bert E. Robinson Jr.; her two sons, Robert Eugene Robinson Sr. and Richard Allen Robinson; her brother, Allen "Bud" Weaver; both of her parents; and a great granddaughter.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Iles Funeral Homes-Grandview Park Chapel. Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home followed by burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
