The Life of Eleanor Ogren Mitton Tripp

Eleanor Tripp, a 102 year old lifelong resident of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest Oct 21 at Birmingham Health Center in Derby. She was born April 30, 1910 to the late Arvid & Agnes Nelson Ogren and was a faithful parishioner of the former St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ansonia. She leaves her daughter Jeanne Bucchino of Derby and ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Richard & Robert Mitton, daughter Jacqueline J. Dojnia and grandson Gregg Dojnia. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Pastor Jack Whritenour of Trinity Lutheran Church Shelton will officiate. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., before the service. The family would like to thank the staff at Birmingham Health Center for the loving care they gave to Eleanor.
