The Life of TERESA JEAN KNIGHT
Teresa “Jeannie” Knight, 58, passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012, with her family by her side, at Prime Nursing and Rehabilitation in Des Moines. She was born November 14, 1953, in Des Moines, to Richard and Catherine (Carroll) Knight.
Jeannie enjoyed bowling, her pool league, and trying new things. She loved watching movies, cooking and baking, and always made pumpkin pies at Christmas time. Jeannie was a wonderful grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.
Jeannie is survived by her son, Ryan Knight; daughter, Amanda (David) Beery; granddaughters, Morgan Beery and Maritza Knight-Beery; siblings, Carol (Dewaine) Ritchhart, Michael (Mary) Knight, Linda (Fred) Jennart, Catherine (James) Bale, Rosanne McMains, Mary (Tom) Hardie, John (Mary) Knight, and Judy (Clayton) Crosby. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Patricia Grumko and Evelyn Drummondo.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., Thursday, September 27, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time, at the funeral home.
