The Life of RONALD KEMP REXROAT
Ronald K. Rexroat, 69, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at the VA Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born February 11, 1943, in Newton, Iowa, the son of Enoch and Helen (McWhirter) Rexroat.
Ron enjoyed gardening, trapping, and fishing. He was a member of the National Trappers Association, as well as the Iowa Trappers Association.
Ron is survived by his wife, Lois; sons, Thomas (Courtney) Rexroat and Jerry (Mindi) Rexroat; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Tyson, Camden, and Zachary; his brothers, Harold (Cheryl) Rexroat and James (Debbie) Rexroat; sisters, Joyce Conley and Joane (David) Cline; along with other loving relatives and many special friends.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, August 18, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation in loving memory of Ron.
