The Life of Arthur Berardi
Arthur Berardi, age 63, loving husband, father and papa, husband to Cheryl Hodio Berardi and resident of Seymour, died unexpectedly on August 12. He was born Dec. 28, 1948 in Derby, son of the late Aben Berardi and Elma Bottachari Berardi of Derby. He was a graduate of Eli Whitney Technical School in Hamden and worked as a flight hangar manager for Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford. He was a parishioner of The Church of the Good Shepherd in Seymour, and was active in the Seymour Democratic Town Committee. In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves two daughters, Jodi Sandora & her husband Robert of Prospect & Kimberly Conroy & her husband Thomas of Milton, MA, three brothers , Francis & Lawrence Berardi , both of Derby and William Berardi & his wife Carol of Oxford, and two granddaughters, Emme Conroy & Maggie Sandora. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, with friends asked to go directly to The Church of the Good Shepherd in Seymour at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. Friends may call on Wednesday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia.
