The Life of HOWARD BENJAMIN PORTER Sr.
Howard B. Porter, Sr., 90, died Friday, July 27, 2012 at Iowa Lutheran Medical Center. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street with burial following at Highland Memory Gardens. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Howard was born August 25, 1921 to Mary and Benjamin Porter. He was a bus driver for Jefferson Lines for 37 years. Howard is a member of the Southgate Masonic Lodge, 32nd degree Mason and past member of the Rainbow Girls, DeMolay, and Toastmaster Club.
Howard is survived by his wife, Irene; sons, Howard Jr., Alan (Theresa) and granddaughter, Megan.
