The Life of HELEN EVELYN SMITH
Helen passed from this life on May 25, 2012 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born July 11, 1929 and was one of ten children born to Solomon Levi Ballard in Numa, Iowa. Helen is survived by her adopted children, son Karl Ray Smith of Altoona, Iowa (Jennifer) and daughter Carol Ann Rowe (Terry) of Carlisle, Iowa. She leaves behind six grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Interment of Helen's cremains will be carried out at Highland Memory Gardens in Des Moines, Iowa during a private gathering at a later date. >>
