The Life of David John Feldbaum

David John Feldbaum, 76
Original American Bandstand Dancer

David John Feldbaum, 76, passed away suddenly on June 25, 2012. David will always be remembered for his love of music and dancing. He and his wife Toni were avid dancers, known for their delightful and entertaining jitterbug. They were regulars at Sam's Saloon, Romarcos, A Taste of Key West and Joey O's.

David was a proud, original Bandstand dancer from 1953 to 1956. Also known as Big Dave and The Captain, he was known for playing small percussion instruments with the bands he loved. He enjoyed surprising waitresses with their tips that he neatly made into paper-money rings. He had a wonderful sense of humor and cherished his automobile. But the real love of his life was his wife Toni.
