The Life of CHARLES LYNN FREY
Charles Frey, age 75, of Urbandale, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, May 19, 2012.
Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Charles was born on December 12, 1936, in Fort Madison, Iowa, to Esther Schulz and Forrest Frey. He became an anesthetist and worked for Des Moines Anesthesiologist for a number of years.
Charles was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and James Frey, and sister, Mary Lee Hertel. He is survived by a niece, Peggy Jones; a nephew, Matthew Burgan of Des Moines; his sister-in-law, Betty Frey, and numerous other nephews and nieces of Houston, Texas.
Charles was a talented pianist, a gifted bible teacher, and a good friend to all. He will be greatly missed.
The family wants to thank the staff at Regency Care Center in Norwalk for the love and care given to Charles these past several months.
