The Life of PAULA JANE CANADY
Paula Canady, 92, died Sunday, April 1, 2012, at her home in Ankeny. She was born March 22, 1920, in Phoenix, AZ, to William and Martha (Schaub) Strüb.
Paula is survived by her children, Jim Canady, Linda (Don) Burke, Carlene Carr, and Larry (Diane) Canady; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Iowa Health Hospice in loving memory of Paula.
