The Life of Donald D Olson
DONALD D. OLSON HUBBARD – There will be services at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2012, at the Woodland Park United Methodist Church, McDonald for Donald D. Olson, 80, who passed away Friday, March 23, 2012, at home. Donald was born Sept. 3, 1931, in Struthers, a son of Harry and Esther Swanson Olson. He was an operating engineer at International Mill Service in Sharon, Pa. for over 50 years. He enjoyed rebuilding and riding bicycles and fishing. He leaves his children, Terry Salem of Hubbard, Dennis Olson of Austintown, Brian Olson of Hubbard and Jennifer Lopez of Cocoa, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Olson; his sister, Nancy Rohovosky; and a grandson, Samuel Salem. There will be calling hours on Sunday, March 25, 2012, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home and Monday, March 26, 2012, one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Woodland Park United Methodist Church in McDonald. Burial will be at Green Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Olson family to defer funeral expenses.
