The Life of JOHN GEORGE CHIONO
John George Chiono, 90, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 10:13 p.m.
John served in the United States Army as a Medic from 1942-1946. He worked for John Deere, retiring in 1978 after 31 years of service.
John is survived by his wife, Norma Chiono; son, Steven (Cheryl) Creed; daughter, Sherri (Ray) Russell; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Caterina Chiono; sister, Mary Chrisluis; and brother, Robert Chiono.
Graveside services will be held 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 1 NE 60th Avenue.
