The Life of ELVA MAURINE ZELIADT
Maurine Zeliadt, 93, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012, at the Carlisle Care Center. A visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at Linn Grove United Methodist Church in Prole. A luncheon will follow at 12 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
Maurine was born October 20, 1918, in Des Moines, to Milton and Elva Meeker. She was married to Harold Zeliadt in 1940, who was a farmer. She enjoyed painting, gardening, and playing piano. She was the organist for Linn Grove Church for 50 years.
Maurine is survived by her children, Dennis (Betty) Zeliadt, Mark (Sherri) Zeliadt, Cynthia (Jerry) Zeliadt Satram, Glenda Zeliadt; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and sisters, MaryLou Bartlow and Thelma Venturella.
