The Life of Andrew Eugene Raborn

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Lafayette, for Andrew Eugene Raborn, age 25, who passed away on Friday, January 6, 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, due to a tragic automobile accident. Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Richard Humphries, Senior Pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church will conduct the funeral services. Survivors include his parents, Wendell and Elisa Holmes Raborn; his twin brother, Matthew Raborn and his wife Sandi and brother, Daniel Raborn and his fiancée Candie Fontenot; his paternal grandmother, Robbie Raborn; maternal grandmother, Louella Holmes and maternal grandfather, Bruce Holmes and his wife, Sherry. He is also survived by his large loving family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends from around the world. Born in Lafayette, Andrew was a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a 2004 graduate of Ovey Comeaux High School in Lafayette and he also received two degrees from Louisiana State University. Andrew was an organ donor, who shared his life with five other individuals. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's SOUTHSIDE location on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday morning at Asbury United Methodist Church, 101 Live Oak Blvd., Lafayette, Louisiana from 10:00 AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Andrew Raborn Memorial Fund at Iberia Bank in Lafayette. Pallbearers are Matthew Raborn, Daniel Raborn, Andrew Broussard, John Melancon, Derek Dunn, Robby Briley and Trey Blaise. Martin & Castille-SOUTHSIDE-600 E.
