The Life of Gage Matthew Norman
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 in Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Gage Matthew Norman, 19, who passed away on December 5, 2009.
Reverend John DeLeeuw will officiate the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Norman, a resident of Maurice, LA, was the son of Kenneth Joseph Norman, Jr. of Lafayette, Louisiana and the former Jacqueline Addison of Lafayette, Louisiana. Gage will be remembered for his love of adventure, travel and good music. He was a graduate of Lafayette High School where he was the "Class clown". He was well known and liked by many; he never met a stranger. He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Jacob Norman and Grayson Norman; two sisters, Madeline Addison and Kenni Norman all of Maurice; paternal grandfather, Kenneth Norman, Sr. and wife Julie of Carencro; maternal grandparents, Cheryl Hamilton LeBlanc and Fredrick Addison and wife Rebecca both of Lafayette; maternal great grandmother, Annette Hamilton, his uncle Emerson Addison and his aunts Kimberly Vasquez, Tiffany Credeur, Connie Frederick, Stephanie Addison, Amy Addison and Anjila Addison and eight cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Grace Norman and Youline and Ben Latiolais, great grandparents, Anthony and Odile Norman, maternal great grandparents, Olan H. and Marjorie Addison and Stephen Hamilton, IV, and one uncle Fredrick Emerson Addison, Jr.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm and on Wednesday from 8:00 am until the time of services at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette.
Pallbearers will be Garrett Schexneider, Brian Hayes, Drake Redicker, John Cafferey, Emerson Addison and Christian Gaar. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Norman and Will Henderson.
