The Life of Clara Joy Reddell

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 17, 2007 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Clara Joy Reddell, 55, who passed away Friday, March 16, 2007 at Southwest Medical Center.

Rev. Perry Sanders, Pastor Emeritus of First Baptist Church will officiate at the services.

Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery in Lafayette and Brother Steve Horn will conduct the Committal Service.

Ms. Reddell, the daughter of the late Douglas Reddell and the former Doris Odean Brown was a native of New Orleans, La and resided in Lafayette. She is a member of First Baptist Church. She previously worked for Joe Elsbury Production and was presently employed with Petroleum Engineering, Inc.

Survivors include two sisters, Janet Decuir and Emmie Miller both of Beaumont, TX; one brother, Doug and wife, Louisa; nephew, Zachary; and niece, Melanie Reddell of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas ''Doc'' Reddell and Doris Odean Brown.

Visiting hours will be observed on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie McCauley, Russ Peacher, Marc Peacher, Keith Carlson, Pat Ames, and Kirk Brown.

Honorary pallbearers will be Doyle Plyant, Blake Prather, Jim Fisher, Brent Carlson, Stephen Carlson, and Stewart Carlson.

Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette is in charge of funeral arrangements.
