The Life of Loretta Cecilia Harrison
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 8, 2008 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Loretta Cecelia Harrison, 73, who passed away Monday, May 5, 2008 at her residence.
Reverend Morris Jeffery, Pastor at World Harvest Lighthouse Church in Carencro, will officiate at the services.
Interment will take place at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Loretta, the daughter of Cornealous Neil Harrison and the former Blanche Brewer, was a native of New Bern, NC and a resident of Sunset, LA.
Survivors include her daughters, Eunice Acker and husband, Bill of Sunset, LA Diane Young and husband, Johnny of Sunset, LA and Mona Acker and husband, Johnny of Sunset, LA; sons, Jack Dempsey Harrison and wife, Carrie of Sunset, LA, and David Harrison and wife, Shamarie of Sunset, LA; twenty two grandchildren, Loretta, Bill, Jr., Edward, Ike, Johnny David, Bubbles, Dempsey, Sally, Fank, E.J., Johnny Ray, Douglas, Selina, David, Jack, Mary, Dillion, Alicia, Jessica, Jennifer, Johnny Joseph, and Lacie; twenty one great-grandchildren; and brother, John Harrison and wife, Rellie of Sunset, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jack Harrison.
Visiting hours were observed on Monday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm and Wednesday from 8:00 am until the time of services on Thursday in the funeral home.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette is in charge of funeral arrangements.
