The Life of Helen Jeanette Ballback
Going Home Celebration will be held Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. in First Baptist Church in Carencro for Helen Jeanette Ballback, age 74, the former Helen Andrus, who passed away Monday, July 30, 2007 at 4:50 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
The Rev. Nick Peters, pastor of First Baptist Church in Carencro, accompanied by the Rev. Roland Berry, pastor of Northgate Church of Christ in Lafayette, will officiate at the services.
Ms. Ballback was a native of Eunice, LA and a lifelong resident of Carencro. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Carencro and Northgate Church of Christ in Lafayette. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Survivors include four sons, Henry James Ballback and his wife, Susie, of Hammond, Indiana, Harold Joel Ballback of Carencro, Charles York Ballback and his wife, Mary, of Crowley, and George Andrew Ballback and his wife, Pamela, of St. Martinville; one daughter, Ann Marie Ballback of Carencro; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and one sister, Judy Grimes and her husband, Roland, of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Ballback, Jr.; one son, Sidney Eugene Caswell; and her parents, Herbert James Andrus and the former Hazel Marie Richard, both natives of Eunice.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until service time.
