The Life of Savannah Quebedeaux
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008, at a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette, for Savannah Quebedeaux, 63, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Magnolia Estates Nursing Home in Lafayette.Interment will be held in Lafayette Memorial Park.Reverend John De Leeuw will be the Celebrant of the Funeral Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Karen Broussard, organist and soloist, will sing "Amazing Grace", "Ave Maria", "On Eagles'' Wings" and "Surely The Presence of the Lord is in this Place" for the services. Survivors include her beloved husband, Earl Quebedeaux, Sr. of Lafayette; two sons, Jason Quebedeaux and his wife Christy of Lafayette and Earl Quebedeaux, Jr. and his companion Marcia Allemond of New Iberia; three grandchildren, Jude Quebedeaux, Marcus Quebedeaux and Katelin Quebedeaux; one sister, Clara Rose Letour; and five brothers, Clyde Potier, Merlin Potier, Alex Potier, Donny Potier and Dale Potier.She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Potier, Sr. and Eleanor Savoy Potier; one sister, Rita Mae Potier and two brothers, Felix "Bubba" Potier, Jr. and Lawrence Potier.A lifelong resident of Lafayette, Savannah Quebedeaux worked for Walton Avant Jewelers for 20 years. She was a fun loving person, enjoyed entertaining and was happy go lucky. Mrs. Quebedeaux was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to all who knew her and will be dearly missed.Pallbearers will be Marcus Quebedeaux, Earl Quebedeaux, Jr., Jason Quebedeaux, Todd Quebedeaux, Allen Quebedeaux and Lee Potier.A Rosary will be prayed Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 7:00 PM in Martin & Castille Funeral Home. The family requests that visitation be observed on Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until time of service.Martin & Castille-Lafayette, 234-2311
