The Life of Virgina Kirby
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 21, 2006 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Virginia Cloud Kirby, 92, who passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at Our Lady of the Oaks.
Rev. Ted Standley, Pastor, First Christian Church, will officiate.
Mrs. Kirby was an active member and past president of Altrusa and the American Business Women''s Association. She was also an Elder in the First Christian Church.
Survivors include one son, Coy F. Kirby of Scott, LA; two grandchildren, Christy Kirby, Coy F. Kirby, II; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Elden Kirby; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be observed Friday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, is in charge of all funeral arrangements.
