The Life of Diana Savoie
Funeral Services will be held at a 12:30 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church for Diana Savoie, 65, who passed away on April 15, 2009 at Medical Center of Southwest Louisiana.
Reverend O. Joseph Breaux, Pastor of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Savoie, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late Edwin Hebert and the former Marie Duhon. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Elvoice "Al" Savoie; two sons, Jason Savoie of South Padre Island, TX, and Steven Savoie and wife Kelly of Maurice, LA; two sisters, Patricia Thibodeaux of Lafayette and Judy Hawkes of Gonzales, LA; one brother, Fredrick Hebert of Lafayette, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Friday, April 17, 2009 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and on Saturday from 8:00 am until time of the services at Delhomme Funeral Home of Maurice.
A Rosary will be recited in the Funeral Home at 6:00 pm on Friday evening.
Pallbearers will be Jake Faul, Jody Arceneaux, Chad Savoie, Jason Savoie, Steven Savoie and Drake Hebert. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dale Bourque, Fred Hebert and Michael Bouzon.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 200 Chief H. Fred Avenue, Maurice, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
