The Life of Gloria Sheehan Leonard
Gloria M. Leonard, age 87, wife of the late E. Morgan Leonard and resident of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest Dec. 9. She was born Nov. 2, 1924 in Caribou, Maine, daughter of the late William & Juliet LaFleche Sheehan. Gloria was a veteran of U.S. Women's Army Corp. She was retired from Robertshaw Controls of Milford, and volunteered at My Sisters Place in Ansonia. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Randy (Debra) Leonard of Naugatuck and two daughters, Susan Maleszwski of Oxford & Nancy (Mitchell) Pawlowski of New Haven, and six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, William, Harold & Richard Sheehan and two sisters, Rita Gordon & Patricia Holt. Friends may call on Monday, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia.(www.jenkinskingfh.com) Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. She will be buried with military honors in the family plot in Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice .
