The Life of EILEEN MARIE SEYMOUR
Eileen Seymour, 74, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 at Carlisle Care Center in Carlisle. She was born August 5, 1937, in Des Moines, to Elliott and Ida Hatfield.
She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, reading her bible and going out to eat. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Eileen is survived by children, Vicki (Gary) Childress, Lonnie (Pam) Piper, Patti (Dan) Wager, Karen (James) Rule, and Judy Johnson; 22 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and sister, Karen LaMar from Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Russell T. Seymour; two grandsons, Wesley and Michael and brother, Charles Hatfield.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Eileen.
