The Life of LARRY LEE HUNT
Larry L. Hunt, 68, died Sunday, November 20, 2011. He was born February 16, 1943 in Ames, Iowa to Fred and Icle Hunt.
He served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. Larry was a mail carrier for United States Post Office in Ankeny for 37 years. He enjoyed golf, playing cards, and music.
Larry is survived by his wife, Louann; children, Laura McCulloch, Larry (Debbie) Hunt, Jr., and Larissa Hunt; granddaughter, Crystal; and his brother, Jerry (Karen) Hunt. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Capps.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, November 22 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Research Association in loving memory of Larry.
