The Life of MARILYN JEAN INMAN
Marilyn Jean Inman, 76, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. She was born September 14, 1935, in Davis County to Ralph and Clemmie Downing.
She graduated from Davis County High School in 1953, and married Reed J. Inman June 6, 1954 at Floris Christian Church
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 57 years, Reed Inman; sons, Randy (Pat) Inman and Allen (Patty) Inman; daughter, Linda (Donny) Wright; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph (Evelyn) Downing; sister, Sue (Marty) Zylstra; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harvey Downing, and sister, Janice Stufflebeam.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, November 11 at the funeral home.
