The Life of DONALD DWIGHT SCOTT
Donald D. Scott, 90, of Des Moines died August 26, 2011, at his home. Donald was the son of Rolly and Martha Scott.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the Highland Park American Legion Post. He had worked as a sign repair technician.
Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Madonna Scott, and his parents, Rolly and Martha Scott, son Michael, five brothers, and one sister.
Donald is survived by his son Donn, two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, August 29, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. The funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 30th at the funeral home, with burial of the cremated remains at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 2nd, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
