The Life of Mary A Bruner

Mary Alvertia Bruner AUSTINTOWN – Funeral services will be at noon on Friday at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Mary Alvertia Bruner, 88, who died Monday afternoon at Austinwoods where she resided. Mary was born in Hopewell, Pa. on May 19, 1921 to the late Jacob and Jennie (Burket) Weimert. She came to the Youngstown area in 1956. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Bruner, whom she married Jan. 26, 1945, he died June 3, 1989; two sisters, Lester Boring and Freda McCrea; and four brothers, Art, Andy, Sanford and Walt Weimert. She is survivied by two sons, Darrel (Maxine) Bruner of Austintown, and Ronald (Wanda) Bruner of Rochester, Ind.; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Artie Nye of Canfield, Pearl Williams of Jamestown, Pa. and Ellen Swope of Jamestown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday morning at the funeral home. Burial will be at Green Haven Memoral Gardens.
