The Life of THOMAS P DONOVAN
Services for Thomas P. Donovan, 56, of 2608 Forty-eighth St., will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Westover Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Donovan, a salesman for Blue Line Storage Co., died at home Tuesday afternoon of a heart ailment. He had been ill several years.
He was born in Newell and was a graduate of Sutherland High School and the Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport. He had attended Fort Dodge Junior College and served in the Navy in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred; a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Peterson, and a son, James F., all of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Klingsies of Portland, OR, and Mrs. Grace Carpenter of Fort Dodge; two brothers, Dr. Harry B. of Jefferson and Claus F. of Baltimore, MD, and seven grandchildren.
