The Life of IRENE B LINCOLN
Irene B. Lincoln, 90, of Norwalk died of Alzheimer''s disease Tuesday at Norwalk Manor, where she was a resident 12 years. Services will be graveside at 11 a.m. Thursday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
Mrs. Lincoln was born in Des Moines and returned in 1965 after living in California, where she retired as a bookkeeper for Mayflower Van Lines.
Surviving are a daughter, Betty Tarr, and a son, Don, both of Des Moines; two sisters Beatrice Hawbaker of Ogden and Lorna Witter of Norwalk; a brother, Lyle Helm of Story City; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
