The Life of LESLIE G H CARVOUR

Leslie G.H. Carvour, 81, of the 2400 block of Farwell Road died of a heart ailment Friday at Carlisle Care Center in Carlisle. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Victory Praise Center, of which he wsa a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Carvour was born in Cleveland and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was a station agent with Rock Island Railroad and had worked for Solar Aircraft and Super Valu warehouse before retiring. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the Teamsters. Survivors include his wife, Beatrice; a son, Mickey of Altoona; two daughters, Susan Adams of Cheyenne, WY, and Barbara Fjordbak of Riverside; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Victory Praise Center.
