The Life of CECIL PRESLEY HENDERSON
Cecil Presley Henderson, 75, of Woodbury West Health Care Center, 1211 Vine St., West Des Moines, died of a stroke and heart attack Sunday at the center.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Henderson was born in Cincinnati, IA, and lived in the Des Moines area for several years. He was a retired coal miner and a member of Rubber Workers Local.
Survivors include two sons, Cecil and Chuck, both of Des Moines; four daughters, Carolyn Plumb and Laura Van Gundy, both of Des Moines, Esther Halterman of Altoona and Betty Powell of Creston; two brothers, Rod of Des Moines and John of Centerville; three sisters, Bernice Blair and Rose Parker, both of Des Moines, and Marie Larson of Centerville; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
