The Life of BERNICE L HISCOCKS
Bernice L Hiscocks, 87, of Valley View Village, 2571 Guthrie Ave. died of complications of an infection Friday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Hiscocks was born in Adir County and lived in Des Moines since 1926. She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church and Auburn Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Thomas of West Des Moines; two sisters, Agnes Knudsen of Des Moines and Jeannette Thompson of Apache Junction, AZ; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
