The Life of HENRY W HISCOCKS
H.W. "Bill" Hiscocks, 84, of 2571 Guthrie Ave. died of a stroke Friday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Hiscocks was born in Adair County and had lived in Des Moines since 1926. He was a retired accountant with Hubbell Realty, a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church, the Auburn Masonic Lodge, the Des Moines Consistory and the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine.
Survivors, all of Des Moines, include his wife Bernice; a son, Thomas, a sister, Mary Lorey; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church. Arrangemetns are being handled by Hamilton''s Funeral Home.
