The Life of FRED EARL FISHER
Fred E. Fisher, 82, of Maxwell, formerly of Des Moines, died of a heart ailment Saturday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Fisher was born in Panora and lived in Des Moines from 1923 to 1986. He had worked for Pinkerton Detective Agency for 10 years and Solar Aircraft for 18 years. He was a member of the University Christian Church in Des Moines and American Legion Post No. 249 in Maxwell.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline; a son, Kirt of Littleton, CO; two daughters, Donna George of Cambridge and Nana Haines of Bellflower, CA; a sister, Mary Helms of Des Moines; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Amanda the Panda.
