The Life of ALICE Z SWIFT BARLOW
Alice Z. Barlow, 87, of 3410 Bowdoin St. died of a heart ailment Sunday at home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Barlow was born in Bondurant and had lived most of her life in Des Moines, where she was a department head at Younkers for more than 25 years before retiring.
She is survived by a son, James Swift of Des Moines; two daughters, Kathryn Beavers of Urbandale and Jerry Turner of Des Moines; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
