The Life of MINNIE ETTA BOWEN
Services for Mrs. E. C. Bowen, 60, of 2607 Hickman Road, who died of a heart ailment Sunday at Mercy Hospital, will be noon Wednesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowen, born in Everly, lived 42 years in Des Moines. She was a retired beautician and operator of a beauty shop in her home. She was a member of St. John''s Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Judith Hunt of Des Moines; a son, John of Nevada, Ia.; four sisters, Mrs. Katherine Weeldryer of Chancellor, S.D., and Mrs. Alta Swaggart, Mrs. Beverly Bowen and Mrs. Viola Oxley, all of Des Moines, and two grand-daughters.
