The Life of HELEN EVELYN FITCH KELLER

Helen E. Fitch Keller, 89, of Altoona Manor Care Center, 200 Seventh Ave., Altoona, died from complications of a stroke there Friday.  Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ankeny Funeral Home.  Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Keller was born in Polk County and had lived most of her life in the Ankeny area.  She retired as a machine operator from Emco Industries Inc.

Among survivors are her husband, Wilbur of Carlisle; two sons, Robert Fitch of Yuma, Ariz., and Norman Fitch of Coos Bay, Ore.; a daughter, Marvel Roudebush of Des Moines; two stepsons, Dennis Keller of Omaha and Doug Keller of Des Moines; a stepdaughter, Dee Prall of Carlisle; two sisters, Edith Bice of St. Charles and Dorothy Roberts of Ankeny; 11 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Iowa Alzheimer''s Foundation.
