The Life of EDITH ALENA PETERSON FOGEL
Alena Peterson Fogel, 76, of 2220 York St. died of a stroke Sunday at home. Services will be graveside at 11 a.m. Thursday in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Fogel returned three years ago to Des Moines, where she was born, after living in California for nine years. She formerly worked in the central supply department at Iowa Lutheran Hospital and was a member of Union Park United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Louis; a daughter, Sandra Adams, and a sister, Barbara Guthrie, both of Des Moines; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 4:30 to 9 p.m. today at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
