The Life of MELISSA MARIE JONES
Services for Melissa Marie Jones, 8 year-old daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Jerry Jones of 815 S.E. Ninth St., will be at 1 p.m. Tueday at Southtown Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
Melissa died Friday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital of injuries she received when she was struck by a car.
A native of Des Moines, she attended Dunlap School and Kingsway Cathedral.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a half-sister, Rachel of Des Moines; a half-brother, Jerry Lee of Des Moines; and her maternal grandparents, Loren and Goldie Alexander of Des Moines.
