The Life of HILDA P HOCH

Hilda P. Hoch, 92, of Parkridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Hill died of a respiratory ailment there Tuesday.  The body was cremated, and graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Born in Austria, Mrs. Hoch had lived in the Des Moines area most of her life.  She was a retired head housekeeper with Drake University and a member of Basilica of St. John.  She was fond of children and loved to sew, work crossword puzzles and read.

She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Yates of Pleasant Hill and Kathleen Jarrett of Littleton, Colo.; a brother, Frank Palcic of Burnsville, Minn.; a sister, Lela Lindsley of West Des Moines; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman.
