The Life of FLOYD R POLEN
Floyd R. Polen, 91, of Altoona, died of pneumonia Monday at Des Moines General Hospital after a brief illness.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Polen, a retired stationary engineer, was born in Quasqueton, had lived in the Des Moines area since about 1922 and was a member of Gnemeth Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Hild of Altoona; two sons, Darrell of Dallas, Tex., and Marvin of Des Moines, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
