The Life of SELMER C OLSON
Services for SELMER C. OLSON, 79, of 5900 Synder Ave., who died of a heart attack Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Central Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in McCallsburg, Mr. Olson lived in Des Moines since 1937. A retired Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc. employee, he was a member of Central Lutheran Church.
Survivors incldue his wife, Alma; two daughters, Bonnie Severson of Des Moines and Shirley Sealine of Bettendorf; two sisters, Emma Ellingson of McCallsburg and Clara Kelley of Van Nuys, Calif.; and four granddaughters.
The family suggests memorials to Central Lutehran Church or the Heart Fund.
