The Life of VIRGINIA RUTH HESS
Services for Virginia R. Hess, 67, of Parkview Manor, who died of cancer Monday at home, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brandt Funeral Home in Dallas Center. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
Mrs. Hess was born in Indiana and lived in Woodward for several years. She was a retired sales clerk and had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and White Shrine.
Surviving are a daughter, Betty Gamble Tiernan of Woodward; two brothers, Gerold Brooks and Earl Brooks, both of Indiana; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will meet with friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Assumption Catholic School in Granger.
