The Life of ALVIE LINCOLN BITTING
Services for Alvie Lincoln Bitting, 71, of 1649 E. Court Ave., will be at noon Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Bitting died of a heart ailment at Des Moines General Hospital Wednesday after an illness of several years.
A lifelong resident of Des Moines, he was a retired furniture company employee and a member of Teamsters Union Local 90.
He is survived by his wife, Fern; a son, Donald R. of Des Moines, four grnadchildren and two great-grandchildren.
